Why Can Athletes Have a High BMI?

Imagine two adults with exactly the same height and weight.

One person may have relatively high body fat and lower muscle mass. The other may have substantial muscle mass, relatively low body fat, and years of strength or athletic training.

Their BMI could be identical.

Waist-to-height ratio compares your waist circumference with your height.
